Aid Poems Kit

Aid poems kit

Poetry is undoubtedly the medicine of the soul. It is a comfort, a haven of peace and a way of feeling that we are not alone in the world.

Many others have put, throughout history, words with which at a given moment we feel identified. And that is priceless; furthermore, universal sentiments never go out of style.

With poetry we can discharge ourselves emotionally if we are the ones who write or, on the contrary, touch the soul of that person who reads it, helping them.

We can all have our own first aid kit with our favorite poems. Poems with which we feel especially identified and that we can read when we are alone with a cup of tea or looking at the sea.

Today, we offer you a “first kit” with the hope that you like them.

Start over ( Mario Benedetti )

“Start over
even if you feel weak
….

Start over
even if you feel that your goals are over
and that your dreams are complete.
Take them again and start doing them
…. “

Never despair. Life is always a starting over.

There are always stones in the way, not only for you but for everyone. It is true that you will feel powerless, that there are going to be sad days, very sad … but think that ” there is no harm that one hundred years last “.

Every difficulty, every adverse circumstance is an opportunity to continue growing.

Walker there is no path  (Antonio Machado)

“Walker, your footprints are
the road and nothing else;
Walker, there is no path, the path
is made by walking ”

We must not hide out of fear.

To remain seated on the sofa for fear of living, of discovering, of being disappointed … If we do so, we will surely have a life without suffering, but we will also have lost many wonderful things along the way.

Walk and discover everything that awaits you on the long path of life.

The r emordimiento (Jorge Luis Borges)

“I have committed the worst of sins
that a man can commit. I have not been
happy. May the glaciers of oblivion
drag me down and lose me, merciless “

It is true, we must be happy above all else.

We must try … when the storms come, face them with integrity and strength … that inner strength that helps us and protects us. But when the storm passes we must try to be happy, happy with little things.

Enjoy, feel, laugh. .. it would be a shame if you regretted when the passing of the years overtook you and you think that you could have been much happier.

Simply changing  the people who contributed nothing to people who make you feel happy,  taking control of your life at a given moment and changing situations that you do not like.

Happiness is also an attitude towards life!

Poem 20 (Pablo Neruda)

“I don’t love her, it’s true, but how much I loved her.
My voice sought the wind to touch her ear….

I don’t love her anymore, it’s true, but maybe I love her.
Love is so short, and oblivion is so long “

Love Hurts. Heartbreak is very difficult to explain, although there are great poems that put words to our feelings in a unique way.

Therefore, if you suffer from heartbreak, read a poem, you will feel that you are not alone, that many have gone through the same thing. You will surely find yourself much more comforted.

Do like the Sun (Miguel de Unamuno)

Do not cling to the past,  or sad memories.

Do not open the wound already healed.

Don’t relive the old aches and pains.

What happened happened…

Do like the sun that rises every day,

without thinking about the night that happened “

Can more truths be concentrated in a few words? It is true, we must not cling to the past. The past, the past is. Don’t spiral into negative thoughts. Work your emotional intelligence.

Let’s focus on the present and take advantage of every moment of our day to day!
